1990 Jaguar XJS Question: Brake replacement cost on a xjs

How much should rear brakes cost to replace on a 1990 xjs. I was told that it would be 11 hours of labor costs at Meineke

    First thing, muffler shops are not my choice of shops to take a Jaguar unless it's maybe for exhaust work. This is purely my opinion based on many years of mechanic career. I worked on Jags quite a lot in the past, so I have my perspective.
    You need to find a Jaguar specialist and get an estimate. I don't know what the job's going to cost without inspecting the car myself. I'm including our estimator link for you:

    the rear brakes on this Jag are inboard, next to the differential and not at the wheels. the labor is insane
    and every time i quote this job, the customer scraps the
    car. if you tackle this repair, replace calipers, hoses,
