Brake replacement cost on a xjs on 1990 Jaguar XJS

How much should rear brakes cost to replace on a 1990 xjs. I was told that it would be 11 hours of labor costs at Meineke

First thing, muffler shops are not my choice of shops to take a Jaguar unless it's maybe for exhaust work. This is purely my opinion based on many years of mechanic career. I worked on Jags quite a lot in the past, so I have my perspective. You need to find a Jaguar specialist and get an estimate. I don't know what the job's going to cost without inspecting the car myself. I'm including our estimator link for you: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=21784&car_brand_names=Jaguar If you want to find a specialist, here's a directory link for you: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=21784&car_brand_names=Jaguar

the rear brakes on this Jag are inboard, next to the differential and not at the wheels. the labor is insane and every time i quote this job, the customer scraps the car. if you tackle this repair, replace calipers, hoses, rotors.
