The mileage/time between brake pad and rotor replacement varies based on several things, type of vehicle, area where you live, quality of the parts and driving habits. I've seen pads wear out at 15,000-50,000 miles, it just depends on all those other factors. I'm not familiar with your vehicle but I hope this helps.

On my 2004 SRX, I discovered that the slotted disk rotors work better. The factor rotors are soft and will need to be replaced every year with the break pads. So purchasing better quality rotors will help save on cost. Just from my experience.

I have a 2005 SRX, V8, AWD and I'm on my 3rd set of brakes in 36,000 miles. I went to a brakeshop this time as the OEM brakes didn't last very long. I'm not an aggressive driver and this is the worst brake life I've had on any car.
