I have checked all the fuses inside the car and under the hood. everything is fine so i had to disconnect the battery so the lights wont stay on. why is this happening? i cant figure it out and i really dont have the money right now to take it to a shop to get fixed. is this happening with anyone else? any recomandations ?

Check the brake light switch, maybe it is sticking or misadjusted. Are teh warning lights staying on after you remove the key?

I am having the same exact problem with my 2003 bmw 325i - brake lights won't go off, all the warning lights are on- even when the key is not even in. If you were able to find the cause I would really appreciate if you could let me know. Thanks. My e-mail is mzcombs@aol.com

I have no clue on the other lights, but I tkink that the Brake light staying on might-be the Brake light Switch

I am working in a shop right now and working on an 04 325i and all the dash warning lights are on with the info screen and the brake lights too with the key out. If you pull fuse 43 (instrument cluster fuse) it'll all go out. The instrument cluster module is bad and needs to be replaced. Pulling the fuse may save your battery overnight.
