Question: Brake lights not working

 Rookie

fuse is good and all lights work. but when you press the brake pedal no brake lights come on . Could it be a bad brake switch? what could it be?

    Yes, the switch can be the issue, can you check it with a volt-ohm meter? Or maybe a test light?

    Yes i got a meter and tested between the fuse box and the switch it had power. Then tested between the switch and the lights and no power. Went to VW here in Lakewood ,Co and got a switch for $25 and replaced it . Everything works fine now .
