Question: Brake lights not working

 Rookie

My brake lights on left and right do not work, however my center light on back door works. We have checked all fuses and relays and all are fine. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? I am guessing wiring issue but not sure.

    Have you replaced the right and left bulbs yet.

    Yes we have also replaced lamps/ bulbs on both sides. I have been reading up online about the Brake switch. Hubby said he looked at it and it LOOKED ok. However he did not check to see if either wire is getting power. I think he is going to check that tomorrow. Do you know if this could be the cause of my problem? I am a little confused about the center light on the door is working and the others are not. Are they on different circuits?
