Rear lights on this car known to have problems. The metal circuit board that the lights plug into melts into the plastic housing over time and causes loss of contact. Also wear on contact points from bulb recepticals can cause loss of contact probably due to corrosion. I had to replace several bulb recepticals as well as bend out all metal tabs on same, plus use electrolytic grease on all contact points.
