2002 Dodge Durango Question: brake lights dont work

all of my running lights turn signals tail lights work but when i push the brakes i get no brake lights. the fuses and bulbs are all fine. what am i missing ?

    Have a look at the brake light switch, at the brake pedal. This switch and / or the wiring connector to the switch can fail. This is not uncommon among many vehicles.

    Check the brake light switch pink/dark blue wire should have fused power. white/tan and dark blue/red should have power when the pedal is pressed or the switch is bad. Check fuse 5 (20 amp) is brake light fuse

    I had the same issue and found the tail light assembly needed to be replaced.
