I have a '93 Jimmy 4x4 and the brake lights won't work. The bulbs are new and the brake light switch is new as well. All other lights (indicator, tail, signals...) work, just not the brakes. I've checked the fuse and it is fine. What could the problem be and how do I fix it?

It may be the turn signal switch under the steering wheel.Check for voltage to the turn signal switch while pressing the brake pedal, and there should be power comming out of the signal sw to the rear brakes you need to see what the brake lites use as color code on the wiring to the bulbs. You can check for voltage at the signal switch plugin on the lower partion of steering column.
