 Rookie

I went to change my brake light bulb, broke off the glass bulb, used pliers to get the metal bulb base out, may have shorted something. Now both brake lights now dont work (hazards and blinkers work) and gear shifter wont shift out of park unless I use gear shift release tab. Changed 10 amp brake light fuse and brake light switch down by brake pedal, still having problems with shifter and no brake lights. Also, no cruise control either. Any insight would be awesome, thanks very much
