Question: Brake Light on

 Rookie

Brake Light Came on, Added Brake Fluid, Light Went off now is on again (one day later)and brake fluid had to be added again, but light is still on

  You either have a leaking wheel cylinder (rear drum brakes) or caliper and need to have a shop check your brakes right away because if the master cylinder runs out of fluid you will not have brakes. You can find a repair shop here www.repairpal.com/directory

• brake light on left side doesnt work when headlights or parking lights are on.
  when light switch is on and brake is applied the driver side brake lamp does not come on and the tail light on that side goes out. when light switch is off then brake light works fine.
