The brake hydraulic system is the mechanical portion of conventional braking, which transmits the force needed to provide braking action. It consists mainly of the master cylinder, brake lines and hoses, proportioning valve, rigid metal brake lines, brake calipers, and wheel cylinders (if equipped).
