I have black dust that collects on my front wheels between washings that is not at all attractive. I have an AWD vehicle...is this a common occurrence with these vehicles or should I be concerned?

Hello, this is because a a cheaper brake pad, ceramic pads are known for MUCH less brake dust, request your mechanic to install these, some say they cut dust by 75% or more. Try our free repair cost calculator it has PARTS AND LABOR so that should help give you the best idea. www.elstonauto.com

Lexus has alternative front brake pads that do not produce as much dust on the wheels. They have slightly less stopping power and are not high performance pads as the oem pads.
If your vehicle is still under warranty, the pads may replaced for the low dust pads.
