What is wrong with the brake caliper when it doesn't want to push back in order to replace brake pads? when trying to replace them it's hard to push back and I don't want to push very hard in fear of braking the caliper.

Visitor, November 16, 2010, 16:58Replyis front just use c clamp to push in rear you do the same thing open bleeder valve take c clamp push piston in then put pads on when you get pads on you may need to bleed brakes if the piston in caliper does no go back caliper is bad

Masteropen the bleeder screw and if it goes back easily, then you have a bad brake hose. otherwise you may need a new caliper. if it is the caliper, make sure you change the brake fluid as this is what causes these types of failure.
