1995 Dodge Caravan Q&A

1995 Dodge Caravan Question: brake

i have changed all componts to my brakes but the brake booster and can not build brake pressure what could be wrong -
Answer 1
Remove the lines at the mater cylinder and plug them with your fingers. just keep finger pressure against the ports have a friend fill the brake reservoir and then get that person to pump the brake pedal slowly on the downward stroke allow your fingers to lift of the ports and expel brake fluid and air but do not allow air to enter on the release. If the cylinder builds up pressure it is OK reattach the lines and bleed the brakes starting with the furthers away brake. -
