The auto repair shop said he will use Bosh brake pad to replace the old front brake pad in my car. Is Bosh brake pad good ?
What does brake rotor need re-surfacing ? Is this an expensive job?
Thank you.

Bosch is a quality name brand and produces many original parts for the different car makers. They are probably best known for their fuel injection systems used for many many years on Porsche's, Mercedes, Volkswagen, etc.

If you're still concerned you can ask your shop to use Toyota pads. Resurfacing the rotors adds some labor but it also ensures your brakes will stop smoothly and will not pulsate. hope this helps!
