I have a leak in my boot that i cant for the life of me find. I took all the sourond trims off the inside of the boot to locate the leak,had someone spray water on the roof to make it trickle off the back of the roof,not over the back window,sat inside you can see it comming through the framr holes in the top of the frame near to wear the wiring comes through the rubber bung,but i cant see what or where it is getting in!!!! Anyone have any ideas please?

MasterI would recommend going to a good convertible top shop for this, they are the best for finding all sorts of leaks.

some guy December 26, 2009, 05:48Journeymanis it coming through the wire harness rubber plug that is supposed to seal in the quarter panel? i've seen that in the earlier cars, but not this year. if it is, try removing the rubber plugs (easier when heated with a blow dryer) and apply silicone sealant to the plug groove before reinstalling. try using powdered foot spray to coat the area. the powder absorbs the water and will give a sign when water hits it making locating the leak start point easier to find.
