I took my truck there to get some tie rods done and they discovered my steering rack was leaking which was a good thing but not a good price. They wanted $479 for the rack part and close to $400 for the labor (3.2 hrs). I found several cheaper racks ($266) online and was told I couldn't bring my own part. Their markup on parts are about 75%. When I told the manager, Julian how much cheaper I could get a part and just pay a garage for the labor he said "well,go there.We got lights and rent to pay". I did. I got lights and rent too.I ordered my AC delco part online for $242 and went to a garage that charged $225 for labor. No extra charges for alignment or power steering flush that they were going to charge. No complaints about their work but they overcharge on their parts and labor. You can get much cheaper service at a smaller garage and pay half like I did.
This shop treated me the way I have always wanted to be treated. I brought my car in for an oil change and I left with more than an oil change. I left with peace of mind. I upgraded to synthetic oil and Car Clinic’s “Booster Shot”. Now not only do I have the security of knowing I have the best in my car, I am also saving money at the same time. Not to mention what this will mean at resale time. Very professional
I used to have to drive 60 miles to Mobile for my Lexus service. Now, I drive 4.2 miles to Car Clinic (which was open today on the post-Thanksgiving Frinday). Great service at the shop--plus I can work on my computer with their free WiFi in the Customer Center AND the Car Clinic's on-line glove box (GLOBO) makes it a no-brainer to access all my Lexus service records. My wife takes her Chrysler to Car Clinic for its service, too.
