The air bags mounted in the sides of the front seats may not deploy when needed in an accident due to a failure of the igniters within the air bag assemblies. This would increase risk of occupant injury in a crash.
The drive shaft that propels engine power to the rear wheels could fracture due to a manufacturing flaw. This could allow the vehicle to roll when parked, and would fail to power the rear wheels while driving, which could cause an accident.
The anchor present to mount child seats securely into the vehicle on the left rear seat, inboard side may have been bent downwards. This would prevent the child seat from being mounted securely.
When deployed in a crash, the driver's front air bag inflator can rupture. As a result, metal fragments from the inflator can strike occupants.
One or more of the rear lamps (tail, brake, reverse, turn signal) may stop working intermittently or completely.

The bolt securing the insulated battery cable connector at the trunk floor panel can loosen, causing increased electrical resistance and overheating of the cable connection.
