BMW 735iL Problems
Loosness in the Front Suspension Due to Worn Tension Strut Bushings
The front thrust rod bushings—also referred to as tension strut bushings—are known to fail occasionally. The oil-filled rubber mounts weaken and crack over time, causing a mushy road feel and shuddering in the steering wheel when going over bumps. These worn bushings should be replaced.

BMW 735iL Reviews
lot of electrical problems
I've had this car for almost two years. I've had very few problems save some annoying electical gremlins. That being said, they are acceptable problems given the age and complexity of the electrical system. I recently had to replace the trans. mounts, otherwise just routine maintenance. I love this car and find it a great joy to own and operate.
