BMW 335i Recalls
The inflator that deploys the driver's frontal air bag in the event of an accident may rupture and spray metal fragments onto vehicle occupants. This can increase risk of serious injury or death.
The front side marker lights are programmed improperly and will not turn as appropriate when the parking lights or headlights are activated.
The engine may stall without warning, due to a faulty fuel pump. This can increase risk of a crash.
The bolts that secure the housing for the internal engine timing components can loosen over time, possibly breaking. This can cause the engine to stall.
In the event of a crash, the front passenger airbag may not deploy as expected.
Vehicle electrical power may be lost due to a faulty battery cable connection.
On certain vehicles, when extended to their highest position, the front seat head restraints exceed the allowable downward movement limit as determined by federal safety regulations.
190 X-Drive models are being recalled because the front driveshaift attachment bolts may become loose.
A problem with the air bag wiring may cause the side air bag and/or safety belt tensioner not to deploy if needed in a crash. If these do not deploy to protect the occupant in a crash, the risk of injury is increased.
