my 2002 BMW starts but then dies after a few seconds, What possibly could be the problem?

    There are so many things it could be. BMW has hundreds of codes, just for the engine DME computer. So, have your 3-series scanned. It should tell you some trouble codes and then a you can trace down the problem.
