I have a '95 BMW 318ic . 193,000 miles owned it since new. The instrument panel illumination has disappeared.this includes the heater a/c controls. I have checked the fuses..all ok. I changed the rheosat for the instrument panel and it had juice to it.... still no instrument panel lights. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks.

Thank you for your reply. The ABS light is on but I didnt know that it was related to the instrument panel lights going out. Is this traction conrol computer a chip, an electrical component or similar to the large square ABS labeled fuses in the fuse box? or none of the above? I'll start looking into this. Again than you for the heads up I appreciate it!
