Question: BMW 2007 530xi service light indicates I need front brake pads

But BMW speciality shop claims this means I also need rotors which they estimate at 780.00 for repairs. Is this true? Do you have to replace rotars whenever replacing pads?

Technicianif you wore the rotor down to far - yes it needs replacing.
