blue smoke on start up, antifreeze smell in oil on 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

on cold start blue exaust smoke, antifreeze smell in oil, no check engine light on

the blue smoke on startup sounds like worn out valve guide seals or worn valve gudes. I don't know about a coolant smell in the oil, if the oil is clean and clear there's no coolant in it. Coolant in the oil looks like a chocolate milkshake, very easy to see.
