I put in a new resistor and blower motor, but I get nothing from the blower no matter where i set the fan speed control knob. I had to put in a new everything because the original blower motor got hot and melted through the plastic housing, but the wiring appears to be ok.

The purple wire to the blower motor is your hot wire. If you don't have voltage there check the red wire on the blower resistor for voltage. If you don't have voltage go to the underhood fuse block and check the "Batt Main 4 fuse" a 30 amp. This is what powers the resistor. Also check the HVAC fuse which is a 10 amp. Hope this helps
