where is the blower motor resistor on my 97 bmw 328i?

yes, this vehicle comes with a resistor assembly and it is mounted on the blower motor plenum. you may have to remove your glove box to see it. there is a 4 wire or 5 wire connector, depending on the level of climate control you have.

I was able to get my blower motor working by removing a small pine needle that was stuck inside the motor. Try this before spending the cash on the blower resistor as I did.
