blower motor? on 2005 Jeep Liberty

the blower motor in my jeep seems to only function on 3 or 4 if I put it on 1 or 2 nothing happens what can it be helpppp

If the blower motor has failed on two speeds only it is like lt that the heater blower motor resister has failed it is located just behind the glove box and is assessable with the glove box door open. The resister pack is secured with two bolts and has five wires going to it.

Agreed - I had the same issue - blower only worked on High, its the resistor and a very easy repair. Just drop the glove box door and you'll see a black retangle with a cutout box in the top seciton. It just screws in so you should be able to replace it easily.

The settings 1-3 do not work when the blower is turned on to defrost or defog the windshield. Only the high setting of 4 is working properly. What could be the problem?
This problem occurs all the time when the heat or A/C is on. It only works in the highest setting.
