THIS was CRAZY !! I was new to the car and the battery drained the first time -- then I sat in the car and realized the fan never shut off. Also it would BLOW hot air -- in the summer up and down with no real adjustment. It was me who told the car repair guy to change the FSU .. he wanted to just charge up my AC unit. Don't waste the money on silly fixes --get it right the first time with the FSU.
heat not working; air does. need help figuring out the problem.

Every time I turn off my car there is a faint sound of a fan running inside the car. I would assume it is the blower fan for the heating and cooling inside the cab. I haven't fixed it yet but replacing the final stage fan resistor seems to be the common fix. I'll try that first.
