Generally speaking the blower control module is the term if your 1993 Buick LeSabre has automatic air conditioning. With manual A/C you would have a blower motor resistor. Some in the industry use the two terms interchangeably. So the answer is Yes, The blower control module could also be called the bower resistor.

My 93' Buick has the automatic air conditioning so I have the blower control module. Thank you. Can you tell me how to test it before I replace it? (very expensive)Thanks
