Blower on 1997 Mercedes-Benz S420

Does the A/C Blower have a fuse, relay or resistor that would keep it from blowing? Where is it located? How can it be accesed?

It has all the above and a fan module to boot plus the switch. here is a link to an online repair manual site: http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online I would go the electrical section and start looking at the electrical diagrams for the Blower Motor and then do some tests.
