2001 Pontiac Grand Am Question: blinkers dont work

blinkers dont work. Bulbs are good

    I could be that the "hazard" switch has failed on your 2001 Pontiac Grand Am causing the turn signals to stop working. You can try pushing the hazard switch a few time to see if that will get the turn signals working again. If it does that is probably only a temporary repair, you may need to replace the hazard switch. Your Grand Am may be involved in a recall for the failed hazard switch. Please contact your local GM dealer to see if the recall applies to your car.

    Rear tail light socket boards go bad from wet weather;rusty corroded light sockets. Need to replace-pretty simple. Unscrew 4 plactic twist nuts, un-clip 1 tail light wire, unsnap 6 plastic socket board clips from tsillight housing and pull out bulbs slap into new board and re-clip back into place. Check Amazon. Have alot of replacement parts I bought to fix my 1999 grand am. Got my new boards from monster auto parts online-24.95 each. Darn good price.
