better gas mileage on 2006 Honda Ridgeline
Assuming it's in good running condition , the best way to improve gas mileage is to drop out of 'the race' most drivers are in every day. In other words , to the best of your ability ,given your specific driving conditions (rush hour stop & go etc.) if you can relax , so to speak and accellorate a little easier , stay a little further behind traffic , so you don't have to hit the brakes as often and drop your average speed even 5 MPH , you should notice a difference. IT CAN BE VERY DIFFICULT , THE WAY LOTS OF PEOPLE DRIVE THESE DAYS (many , as if they are the only ones on the road).

Keeping normal maintenance up to date and proper air pressure in tires may help some....but I find if I can keep my foot out of then throttle helps the most. On that size truck the mileage you get may be the mileage your ever going to get considering the fuel we are forced to use.
