bet you cant answer this on 2002 Mitsubishi Galant

battery, alternator, voltage regulator, battery cables all tested all good. if radio and a/c are on battery drains unless i keep r.p.m.'s up. what else can i do to i.d. problem?

how as the alternator checked?? what voltage was present at idle and at 2500 rpm?? Roy

12.59 @ both. it stays around there until i use a/c then slowly drops

not enough. it should be 14 to 14.5 volts. my opinion is you need an alternator. Roy

This is the 2nd one I've put on and the car still does the same as it did with the original. Could something be knocking them out as I put them in?

Many customers brought in Autozone alternators to my Napa store in San Francisco and once we tested it on our Alternator test machine they left with a Napa alternator

always use mitsubishi parts and keep it tuned up
