    Berry's Garage lost the top engine cover during repair and will not replace it or compensate me for loss.

    I had a timing belt and water pump replaced at Berry's garage.

    I picked it up on May 25, 2010.

    When I next checked the oil, the top engine cover, a part measuring one-foot square, was missing. I notified the garage on June 7th, 2010 that it was missing. They looked in the shop for it and did not find it.

    Two weeks later after hearing nothing from the garage, I stopped back in. This time they said that either it had fallen off (not likely bcause it's bolted on with four bolts), or that it wasn't there when the car was towed in to the garage.

    I know it was in place when it was towed because I had unhooked a trickle charger to the battery just before it was towed to Berry's Garage.
