These guys are without a doubt the most honest, forthright, and talented BMW techs I've ever had the privilege of entrusting my car to.
It was great.
I had to come back because there is a message showing up on dashboard "to check brakepads". The technician said, there is no problem with my break pads. Until now, that message is showing up at all times when I used my car. It's annoying.
I stopped in for a quick light bulb change and of course it required a little more time than I expected - Mercedes poor design. Everyone was patient while I unloaded my trunk... they dropped what they were doing and helped me immediately.
My last service was the replacement of the hand brake. They proceeded as promised.

The service is good, they have good pricing. If they say your car is going to be ready at acertain time it is ready at that time.They wash your car everytime they have it.

They were very accommodating to repairing my 08 750i BMW and explained what was needed to be done and recommended items that needed to be completed in the future.
They provided prompt service, and good explanation for the services which needed to be performed.
The service and support is good - however I believe the prices are a bit high.
Mike and crew are very capable in all aspects of BMW car repair, but I believe the cost for service is at the high end, and this aspect would make think that some of my friends/colleagues would be reluctant to go to BMW.

The Owner is friendly but ex employee John added a rare piece of customer service by sharing knowledge and working out a list of priorities as to what could wait to be fixed and what needed to be fixed right away.

They took care of my car. They know what they're doing. They are straight up. They're well versed on auto repair and repair parts. I would recommend over any of the dealers for repairs.
Everything was made in terms of a quality repair. They did a great job detailing which I didn't expect. They were efficient, quick and a quick turn around. It was the way it should be.
The people know what they are doing, and I respect their opinions. However, the last time I took my car there they missed something. They didn't check the fluid levels for my Mercedes, so when I gave the car to my daughter to use a few weeks later she got a warning that the fluid levels were low. It turns out the car needed 10 units of fluid, and it's something that I think Berkeley Auto Works should have caught.
Great service, took a long time but totally understandable. They fixed what needed to be done and when problems occurred they remedied the issue.
