After 170 dollars, the problem was still not fixed. It was just buried for about two weeks.
Customers car came in with gas cap missing which in turn set several evaporative emissions codes. Gas cap was replaced, codes cleared and monitors re-set. No other problems were found or detected at the time.

They said that we might need a whole new motor, or just sell it to another person. Two different people said that. They were able to fix it for around 700 dollars. It is running perfect.

They were wonderful, I was actually having a baby at the time. I went in to labor, and they had my car. The owner allowed by husband to come in on Sunday and get the car, so it was easier to get to the hospital and take the baby home. It was wonderful.
They saved us a lot of money. They recommended a fix that other people hadn't recommended. They advised us to buy parts elsewhere, and pay them to install it. They saved us hundreds of dollars.
They generally are able to come in under their estimate or at their estimate. If something goes wrong, they are quick to make amends. I had no problems.
One of the things they were supposed to do was change my wiper blades and they only changed one of them, not the other one.
Customer came in complaining that the windshield wipers did not come on. It was determined that the windshield wiper switch was faulty. The customer was informed that the passenger side wiper blade was torn and that both blades should be replaced. Customer had us replace the faulty wiper switch but opted to not have his wiper blades replaced by us. The wiper condition and the recommendation to replace them is documented on the customers original invoice of which we have a signed copy.
I had an extremely good experience with them. Very personable and personal. They went out of their way to pick me up. They were great. Oscar and Graham are the people I worked with.
