Question: belt was making a screetching noise had no power steering and car temp went all

temp went all the way up rapidly battery indicator light also went on

    Could be either one of your pulleys is seized, belt tensioner is weak and not keeping proper tensson on belt. Do not drive your car until it can be repaired.

    Check if the belt is still there. If it's gone it's probably due to what was previously mentioned by the other two technician that answered your question.
