My belt broke and I noticed at the very bottom a pully that is bent or crooked. What is this pully driving, it had a hose coming off of it. Emission pump?, Power Steering pump? I need to know so I can by it along with the belt.

If you are referring to the serpentine or accessory drive belt the power steering pump has a hose and is mounted low on the engine......

Thanks for the conformation. It is the power steering, I pulled a diagram off the net after getting a part # 038 145 255 A (not the right part but got the diagram)from a dealer. Anyone else who needs an exploded view of the entire Jetta can get it by Googleing that part ## 038 145 255 A.
