1999 Mercury Mountaineer Question: Beeps
Not familiar with Mercury Mountaineers but could it be a seat belt warning device? Perhaps call the Mercury dealer there service department should be able to tell you over the phone what this noise is. - patrick mannion
It could be your door switch is not working and the car thinks that the door is open, or your seat belt is not buckled or that its switch is not working correctly. Any RED icons or symbols on the dash when this happens? - dandd
Seatbelt is stuck and beeps first five minutes I can buckle but have to push buckle button first.
this is the third time and its on flat road and on a hill it has happened.
I have a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer, and in the message center it alwas saying "Check Charging System" and the beeping sound goes off at the same time, it sometimes goes on constantly and the battery...
to miles on display. Try disconnecting battery to no prevail. Help!!
