I have been taking my 96 suburban to them for about 3 years now, keeping in mind that it is a 96 chevy, when they find something wrong that doesn't need to be done, they let me know the next time I come in to have it checked. The price is always better then others and the repairs are done right or It's done under warranty. If I ask to see the part they are recommending they show me. They have my trust, it always helps when I'm sitting in the waiting room drinking free coffee and watch some one have to get towed over from pep boys, because they tried and can't fix it. My only complaint is the tall bald guy is very rude, and talks down to people. But I always deal with the other gentleman he's kind and explains the things I don't understand.

Do NOT take your car here. Called them to make sure they could change my oil as it is difficult to find the filter on a Lexus - they said they could.
Sat for an hour to find out they could NOT do this and they proceeded to try and charge me.
Also had my tires balanced here, and I mysteriously have a bent wheel after I take my car there.
Gave them a second chance and they blew it again.
STAY AWAY ... contrary to what this says they cannot work on all the makes listed.Flag ThisLike0Reply from Baum Boulevard Automotive - ChuckBBA, October 27, 2010 11:31
It is a Friday afternoon, we drain the oil and then find out that the plastic cover on the oil filter housing is so tight that we are afraid that we may break it trying to remove it. We call all the Lexus dealers to find out if it is available if we damage it. The earliest we can get it is the following Tuesday. We elected to not remove the filter cap and refill the oil with $60 of Mobil 1 to avoid the potential of the car being undrivable for four days - no charge. What would you do? And by the way, wheel balancing cannot cause a bent rim; hitting potholes does.

I'm having to edit a review I posted previously. I USED to trust these guys. I had an old VW that began to need more and more repairs. Every time I brought my car in, something else would go wrong about 2 weeks later. Maybe they weren't sabotaging my car...maybe that just happens on old cars. But, when they replaced my brake rotors and ONE OF MY WHEELS FELL OFF the next time I drove it, it was the last straw. There was one guy who worked there who made a comment to me about how he "lies to people for a living" and there is only one thing that could mean. This place started out good - gave me lower priced repairs than the other guy. But, maybe they do that to suck you in, and then they start inventing/creating problems with your car. Do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I don't know what to make of this post. Having a "wheel fall off" would be a very big deal for us and neither I nor anyone that works for me, knows when anything like this ever happened. I do know that the older a car gets, the more expensive and more often repairs are needed. It is not a conspiracy, it is the natural progression of mechanical things. Contact us, I would like to investigate this further. Chuck
