I am not able too keep the battery charged. I have replaced the starter and had the altenater checked and is all good. The battery is new. Why will the batter keep going dead after I have been driveing for about a week,

You must have a draw in the electrical system somewhere in the car, not in the starter or alternator. You'll likely need some diagnostic help in finding it. Doing so can be tricky.

I have a 2006 Ford Taurus and the same problem you have with the battery. I also have been told that something is drawing on it, but what? If you find out, please post here! In the meantime, months after I was told repeatedly that the battery is fine, it is now officially dead. I'm putting in a new one, but something tells me that will not solve the problem.
