2006 Chrysler Pacifica Q&A

2006 Chrysler Pacifica Question: Battery runs down

I have replaced the battery 4 times since the car was new in 2006. All have been good quality batteries. I replaced the battery in June of this year and this morning it was dead. Has anyone else had this problem with their Pacifica? -

Just because the battery is "dead" doesn't mean it is bad. I suspect you have a charging problem not a battery problem. It would be nice to know which of the three differant Pacifica models you have or what V-6 engine you have. It sounds like you have a PARASTIC DRAW on the battery. This is above your ability to diagnose. Let a pro find the draw and you will not have to replace a battery for awhile. -

It is a Touring model and has the 3.5L V6 engine. You are probably correct in your diagnosis. I put a charger on the battery after I posted the first note and it did not take long before the car started. Thanks for your answer. -
Answer 2
make sure it is the correct capacity. the cold cranking amps need to meet oem specs. have a shop check it for you. Roy -
