Question: battery light stays on , low voltage on gauge

My crown vic's battery light has been staying on along with low voltage reading.Changed alterlator in Dec. last year and battery this week any help would be appreciated

    If the battery is new then the alternator has probably failed, sometimes they last 6 months sometimes years. It might be under warranty bring it back and have it tested or check replacement cost here www.repairpal.com/estimator
