Question: battery light stays on

• battery light stays on , low voltage on gauge
  My crown vic's battery light has been staying on along with low voltage reading.Changed alterlator in Dec. last year and battery this week any help would be appreciated

  headlights are staying on and draining battery so i replaced headlight switch but its still not working properly
