problem started after the distributer was replaced belts seem ok as the wiring also volt gauge most of the times stays steady at 14 or so sometimes dips to 11 or 12
battery light comes on while accelarating and idiling with rpm over 2000 on 1999 Chevrolet Blazer
You could have a possible belt tension problem. If the automatic belt tensioner is going bad it could cause the belt to slip at higher rpm, slowing the rotation of the alternator. Or you could have a internal issue with the alternator.
