Question: Battery light comes on for short while

Once in a while when I start car, battery light goes on. Goes off after a minute or so. Has happened 2-3 times with about a week or two in between times. Last time it stayed on for about 5 miuntes before going off. Your thoughts?

    Possibly your drive belt is loose or the alternator is beginning to fail, Have a shop check this before it leaves you stranded one day
