Question: Battery Drain

 Rookie

If my Santa Fe sits for 2-3 days the battery drains completly. Hyundai says no problem. Replaced Battery but problem has persisted even w/3-4 trips to dealer. Suspected alarm system as it goes off when connected to jump start. dealer says all is normal.

  Ask the dealer if they've performed a battery drain test. While sitting, a battery should have very little amperage draw on the battery. The dealer should check this amperage draw and make a note of it on your repair order. Get that info and post it here and we'll be able to help more at that time.

  While parked, unattended, parking lights go on and drain battery. Hyundai dlr has seen it 3 times, say nothing is wrong!

  I have a clicking going on and when I remove the B+ Fuse under the hood the clicking stops. Whatever it is it drains my battery and is not allowing my battery to charge.
