1999 Buick Riviera Question: Battery Dies

Have a 99 Buick Riviera, 3.8L Supercharged, 8 Years on original battery, 2 on 2nd. 3rd six Months. Battery dead after sitting 2-3 days. Mechanics checked parasitic draw, within spec. Checked all fuses, alternator, battery etc etc. No cause. Security light stays on full time now when driving. Frustrating. No one can pinpopint the problem. -

what kind of batteries are you using?? if they are cheap ones, then this is the result. make sure the cca are correct and make sure the cables are extremely clean. Roy -

Car has new fuel pump, new ignition module, & new battery. Before module, car would die while driven. After new battery put in, ran for an hour then would not restart. restarts when cools off.
The fuel pump may fail causing the engine to stall and not restart. Our technicians recommend replacing the fuel filter every 30,000 miles to help prevent undue strain on the fuel pump.

Does an alternator click when going bad? I hear this clicking that seems to get louder the faster I go. I have parked the Riviera till I find an answer w/o taking it to mechancic.
