Half way back to Reno from Auburn, CA; stopped at rest area and although battery is charged and lights, et al, work, car won't start--nothing.

make sure the theft light is not flashing and the service engine soon light illuminates when turning the key to the on position. Then check for power at the starter bat. terminal (big one),if you are stranded somewhere try tapping on the starter with a hammer or like metal tool while someone cranks the engine. if it starts when you do this drive it to your favorite repair center or home and get a starter.
