How do you replace battery cables? One end goes to the posts, what is the other end connected to and how do you disconnect them?

  Almost every vehicle is different when it comes to how the cables are connected, so it is hard to give specific instructions. You will need to visually inspect the cables and make a determination by looking at the new part and seeing where the old part will need to be removed. J
  Make sure you disconnect the negative cable first, then the positive cable. Install in the opposite order, positive first, then negative.
